Toni is a registered AASW Social Worker, as well as a Therapist. In 2022 Toni completed her Master of Social Work at James Cook University (JCU). In 2019 she completed her Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University. Before that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Louisiana, the United States of America, in May 2015. Toni has her Blue Card and Working with Children Card.

Toni not only has work and educational experience in mental health and social work, but she also has lived experience. Toni has three (3) children with additional needs ranging from mild to severe and with and without intellectual disability. She has helped others and herself since her twins were born in 2008. From that point forward, she needed to focus on how to access services when those services were hard to find. Toni also chosen her focus as child psychology during her pursuit of her Bachelor's in 2015. Toni has living and work/education experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Chronic Pain. She also has experience with carers, immigration, child protection, disability, family violence, and culture shock.

During her Social Work placement at JCU, she worked with the Community Information Centre Townsville (CIC), as well as the JCU GP Health Clinic and the JCU Psychology Clinic.

​*Toni is not registered as a Provisional Psychologist, Psychologist or a Mental Health Social Worker, therefore is unable to file under Medicare benefits.*
